At JobBoard.io, we’re constantly developing and improving our core features, improving the usability of your job board with every update. In this update, we’ve focused on the candidate experience.
- With these updates candidates can review and manage their Job Alert subscriptions and register for additional alerts from within their job seeker profile.
- We’ve added an ‘Application History’ section, so candidates can review which positions they have applied for.
- We’ve also refined the application process. If you choose to enable it, candidates can now apply without a resume – perfect for casual employment.
With the ‘Application History’ feature, candidates can review all their applications in one place. We’ve been storing this data for quite some time, so existing job seekers with who have had accounts on your site can retro-actively see their history of applies.
With the ‘Job Alerts’ feature, candidates can see and manage their email Job Alerts from their profile page.
Job board owners can now choose to make the resume optional for all applications. To enable this, go to ‘Site Config’, then select ‘Resumes Optional on Apply’. If they choose not to submit a resume, we require the applicant to provide a cover letter.
